Fees & Rebates

Session Fees

No Bulk-Billing. The cost of a psychological session (50 minutes) is $250. Reduced rates can be discussed if facing financial hardship.

Medicare

You do not need a referral to attend a session and can pay privately. However, if you wish to claim a rebate through Medicare, you will require a valid referral for a Mental Health Treatment Plan from your GP or Psychiatrist. This will allow you to claim a rebate of $141.85 per session, for up to 10 sessions per calendar year.

The full session fee is payable at the time of your session then Medicare will reimburse the rebate to your nominated bank account within 24 – 48 hours. This results in an out-of-pocket cost of $108.15 per session. Reduced rates can be discussed if facing financial hardship.

Referrals accepted under these schemes with no gap.

Work Cover, SIRA, CTP, DVA and Bupa Open Arms

Private Health Insurance

If you have private health insurance you may be able to claim a rebate for the sessions. At the end of each session, you will be provided with an invoice that provides the details required for you to organise the rebate with your private health fund.

Please note that you are not able to claim from both Medicare and your private health fund for the same session.
